NEOPRENE

Neoprene mainly consists of foamed synthetic rubber. In this process millions of tiny gas bubbles are embedded. The smaller the bubbles are the more robust the neoprene will be - the bigger they are the more flexible and softer. Basically there are three different types of neoprene:

- SBR-Neoprene: a relatively firm material with little elasticity which is mostly used for accessories.

- CR-Neoprene: achieves one of the highest quality standards as it is durable and very stretchable. It is mainly used for high-quality suits.

- SCR-Neoprene: is a mixture of SBR and CR. It is much better than SBR but doesn't reach the same quality as CR. Because of the inexpensive production method it is often used in low-cost products.

Material for lamination

As the raw neoprene material is very easily damaged it is made more durable with a lamination. Here it is important that the neoprene and the lamination have the same characteristics as the materials could otherwise lose their positive features such as flexibility. For the lamination there are four different materials:

- Nylon-T (polyester): is fairly inelastic and is used in combination with SBR. Suits made of these materials are often inexpensive and of not such good quality

- Nylon-N: is used often as it is flexible as well as durable.

- Trilasthan (Lycra): is a mixture of nylon and spandex. You will often find it in strong colours as an alternative to Nylon-N. However whilst laminating it is very important to fit the two materials to each other accurately as wrinkles could otherwise occur.

- Nylon-SS (super stretch): is extremely flexible and the neoprene retains all its elasticity and gives you best movability. Furthermore it has a very comfortable surface. Nevertheless it isn't as tear-proof as the other laminations.

Our Suits

We only use high quality materials to give you the most efficient comfort. Our suits all consist of 100% CR-neoprene laminated with four way super stretch nylon.

This gives our suits maximum flexibility and durability (always provided that you follow the care instructions). If you would like to know how to maintain your suit please read the section below.

Care Instructions

If you follow the care instructions below you will be able to keep your suit as

long-lasting as possible:

- Hand wash only

- Do not tumble dry

- Do not dry clean

- Do not bleach

Always wash your suit after use, especially after using it in salt water. Do this by showering it in cold or lukewarm water (do not use detergent!) and hang it up to dry in the shade. Once it's dry don't hang it up by the shoulders but by the waist on a coat hanger. Please try to give it enough room in your wardrobe so that it doesn't get squashed, as pressure marks could occur.

Warranty

We want you to have the best possible experience with our suits and hope you will recommend them to your friends.

If you are not satisfied, for any reason, just return your suit within 14 days after receiving it for a full refund of your purchase price. We don't want you to have anything from Baybee-surf that is not completely satisfactory.

Should either the material, glued parts or seams break with normal use within one year of purchase we will either repair or replace it free of charge. If this service is needed please contact us and describe us your problem.

We will come back to you as soon as possible.

To keep your suit as long-lasting as possible please also carefully read the care instructions

before use.
